How it all began

Sugarcane juice powder is one of the edge technology results – freeze drying technology, in the food and beverage industry. It is the first time the product has been represented in the Australian market. We are proud to be the first to bring this sugarcane juice powder to customers in Australia.

As an Australian of Vietnamese descent, the Sugar In Cane’s owner wants to promote Vietnamese sugarcane juice to the world, first of all, Australia. Realizing that in Australia, most retail sugarcane juice shops (mainly Vietnamese shops and a few shops from other Asian countries) sell a glass of sugarcane juice at a high price from $5.5 to $7.5 with lots of ice. The actual volume of a glass of sugarcane juice at the shops is about 150ml-180ml. It does not mention the drink hygiene and safety quality of each glass. With a glass of fresh sugarcane juice like this, you must consume it quickly within 15-20 minutes because the juice will become sour and gradually fade due to ice melting.

Furthermore, the craving for sugarcane juice can come at any time, such as early morning after exercising, midday at work, or evening at home, etc… However, sugarcane juice shops open within a fixed time frame (usually from 10 am – 5 pm), so it is difficult for people to get glasses of pure sugarcane juice at different times of the day by coming straight to the shops. The question is: “How can a person drink sugarcane juice anytime and anywhere without worrying about its quality and long-lasting?”. The answer is sugarcane juice powder.

After researching and understanding the market and suppliers, we found a partner specializing in producing sugarcane juice powder in Vietnam to cooperate in developing this product in Australia. Thus, Sugar In Cane was established to bring consumers the convenience and the highest value of this juice towards the vision of creating a new look for sugarcane juice.
